The Pro Team Special is a 10 minute magazine-style programme comprising recent match footage, courtesy of the BBC and Setanta, and Vox-pops with Scotland’s Pro-team coaches and players.

The brief was to enhance the profile of the Magners League matches played on a weekly basis in Scotland. Demonstrating how the Magners League is a platform for some of the world’s top players, it is fast becoming a preferred league for the best talent worldwide.

The second part of the brief was to develop the profile of the two-legged 1872 Cup match between Edinburgh and Glasgow which is also a highlight at the mid-point of the Magners League season. With so many of the players involved also in Scotland’s national team the games take on the feel of a national trial and always action packed, high scoring and well attended.
