Spinning Thistle version 2 - created 04-11-2008

The Spinning Thistle graphic was created to be a holding graphic for the big screens. It was designed as a looped segment of video; we took the Scotland team logo, re-modelled it and then animated it in true 3D space. Lighting effects and glows were added to enhance its three-dimensional appearance.

For the background we created an effect based on the search light rays in the “We Are Scotland” campaign, colouring with a gradient based on the Scotland Team colours - blue to white.
