Homecoming 2009 - created 12-06-2008
To celebrate Robert Burns' 250th anniversary Scotland will host many featured events with a Scottish theme.
We were comissioned to produce a launch video for the Homecoming 2009 Launch which took place at the castle on the 12th June 2008 and opened by Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond. EventScoland suggested that highlighting the "5-pillars" or themes within the launch was an important aspect of the Homecoming 2009 brand. The pillars being; Burns, Whisky, Innovation, Golf and Ancestry.
For a strong Scotthish theme we designed and digitally generated a flag which changed imagery as the theme changed. Each of the video cubes was created to represent each of the pillars. The source material came from EventScotland's archive on a micture of formats including BetaSp and DVD.
