Forthcoming Events version 2 - created 14-11-2008

The ‘Forthcoming Events’ motion graphics project is a short commercial created with still images and moving footage from the BBC, Setanta Heineken Cup and Air Emirates Sevens, to advertise the events coming up at Murrayfield over the next 10 months.

We were asked to create a dynamic presentation based on the animation created by Cravens for the ‘We Are Scotland’ campaign. The design of the original Flash animation was not suited to the dimensions or aspect ratio of the big screens at Murrayfield?. So working round the design issues at short notice we created what you see above.

Other design constraints dictated that we had to follow the ‘Welcome To Murrayfield’ film, which led us to open the project with the last frames of the animated book, and produce a more modern look to separate it from the history aspect of the previous film. We had to make it updateable too so the following week we could change some of the information.
